LaserOverviewMost people understand how an injet works because the idea is familiar. It puts wet ink onto paper in a similar way to a pen or marker that we use every day. Laser printers on the other hand use a dry ink powder called toner, but how does it get onto the page and how does it stay there?

A traditional photocopier reflects light off of the original onto the drum, while a laser printer uses a laser beam and a set of mirrors to generate the image.
